The Latino Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating services provided to Spanish speaking clients and Latino communities served by Trilogy. They will provide support in the form of consultation, trainings, mentorship and coaching to Spanish speaking staff and their supervisors across the agency as needed. The Latino Services Coordinator will work with their supervisor, the clinical director, as well as the Director of DEIA to develop effective ways to enhance services at Trilogy while providing outreach and advocacy for Latino communities within Trilogy’s service areas They will serve as a liaison from Trilogy to Latino communities and support in developing relationships with community partnersThe Latino Services Coordinator is also responsible for providing clinical services in Spanish to clients across all levels of care. 

Responsibilities

    • Provide clinical services (i.e. psychotherapy, skill building, case management, community support, etc.) in Spanish to clients across all levels of care.  
    • Complete intakes and assessments for clients to ensure linkage to appropriate services 
    • Provide psychotherapy and psychoeducation to clients in various programs at Trilogy 
    • Engage in outreach of Spanish speaking communities as well as establishing and strengthening relationships with community partners 
    • Provide trainings in Spanish to community partners to provide mental health awareness and reduction of stigma. 
    • Train new employees to provide quality bilingual Spanish services to clients; while ensuring continued education through trainings for bilingual Spanish employees to strengthen services provided. 
    • Facilitate consultation group for bilingual Spanish employees.   
    • Identify employee training opportunities and assist in facilitating employee improvement.  
    • Provide clinical supervision in Spanish to any direct reports 
    • Provide consultation to bilingual Spanish employees, as requested. 
    • Provide coaching to Supervisors of bilingual staff to improve the quality of supervision and performance across teams and programs. 
    • Assist in the interview, hiring and onboarding process for bilingual Spanish employees across the organization.   
    • Provide strength-based, client-centered, recovery focused and trauma-informed services to adults with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance abuse disorders presenting for services 
    • Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other closely related field required 
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts preferred 
  • Availability for flexible hours; i.e. evening and/or weekend hours as needed  
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license 
  • Daily access to a well-maintained vehicle with $100,000/$300,000 liability insurance 
  • Bilingual and fluent in Spanish required 
  • Minimum two years’ experience working with people with mental health issues and/or substance abuse diagnoses 
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
